Location

The comfortable 3-star superior Landhotel Post Ebensee is located on the southern shore of Lake Traunsee, approx. 900 m from the centre of Ebensee and around 4.5 km from Traunkirchen. A ski bus stops in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation and takes you to the Feuerkogel ski area, approx. 1 km away. Cross-country skiing fans can reach the nearest cross-country trail entrance after around 7 km, and a toboggan run is around 5 km away.

All guests travelling by public transport will receive a small gift on site.

Facilities

The general facilities of the family-run hotel include a reception, Wi-Fi, lift, breakfast room, restaurant, bar, ski cellar, charging station for electric cars (for a fee) and parking spaces (subject to availability).

There is also a small spa area (for a fee) with an organic alpine salt sauna or Finnish sauna, relaxation room and experience and Kneipp showers.

Board

Half board is included in the price of the holiday. This includes a rich breakfast buffet and a 3-course menu of your choice in the evening. Vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free and dietary dishes are also available on request.

Important notes

  • The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so there is no half board on these days, only breakfast is served.
  • No lift pass voucher is issued for infants up to and including 5 years of age, they ski free when accompanied by their parents. Should children in this age group use the lifts unaccompanied by their parents or attend a ski course on site that requires a lift pass, a children's lift pass must be purchased separately on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
