Ski area Hörndllift Embach

The "Embacher Liftkarte" is valid in the local ski area in Embach at Hörndl on an altitude of 1,102 to 1,296 m. Here you can find a total of 3 km of piste, which are marked mainly blue, and in some places red. The Hörndllift takes you to the flat pistes which are best suitable for beginners and children. A babylift is available for the smallest skiers, and a medium piste can be found for more experienced skiers.

Those who are more experienced and are looking for more diversity will find larger ski areas within a few kilometres: Rauris in the south, the Hochkönig ski region in the north, as well as Zell am See Kaprun and Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn in the west.

Après ski Embach

Active holidaymakers can look forward to various winter sports possibilities both in the villages as well as in the wooded mountain flanks. A pleasant ski tour or snow shoe hike through the Embach landscape will make nature lovers' hearts run faster. Nearby the pistes at Hörndllift you can also find cleared hiking trails leading up to the hills. If you do not want to walk on your own you can join one of the guided hiking groups. There even is a guided Nordic walking tour. The tours are part of the diverse weekly programme, which, among other things, also includes a fun and games day for children and moonlight tobogganing.

The toboggan run starts at the ski hut "Crazy House" at the Hörndllift mountain station and leads down to "Jausenstation Pilzegg". Local après ski mainly takes place in the mountain inn above the resort centre. The inn welcomes you after your hike or toboggan run, and you can enjoy a cosy afternoon together or celebrate wild après ski. Live music is also played on a regular basis at "Pilzegg".

Snowpark: Snowpark Embach

At Hörndllift in Embach there is unfortunately no snow park. Several attractive parks can be found in the sourrounding ski areas which can be reached fast and easily by card. The Snowpark at Kitzsteinhorn with super half pipe, and the Natural Park in Fieberbrunn are especially recommendable.
