Location

The family-led 4-star Malerhaus hotel is located approx. 200 m away from the centre of Fügen. The Spieljochbahn cable car, which is approx. 900 m away, will take you to the ski area. The thermal spa Erlebnistherme Zillertal also offers a special wellness experience and is situated approx. 300 m away. Cross-country skiing trails can be reached within about 2 km. Ski buses stop right at the door.

Facilities

This hotel offers various amenities, such as a reception, Wi-Fi, a lift, a dining room, a hotel restaurant, the Il Pittore pizzeria and a hotel bar. Outdoors, hotel guests can find a rooftop terrace. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. Drivers can use a parking lot - subject to availability.

Spa

The 200 m² large wellness area invites its guests to indulge body and soul. There is a 44 m² large heated outdoor pool. When it’s time to rest and recharge, visit a Finnish sauna, an aroma steam bath, an infrared cabin and a spa shower. Let the stress of everyday life dissipate in the relaxation room. A solarium as well as massages are available for a fee. Our staff provides guests with a bathrobe and bathing slippers on a loan basis.

Children

The children's playroom offers a range of play experiences for young guests to keep them content and entertained. Cots are provided for a fee, high chairs can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

Entertainment

Sports facilities and activities at the hotel include a gym (approx. 170 m²).

Board

The half board plus catering plan includes a welcome drink and a rich buffet style breakfast. In the afternoon (16:00 - 18:00) guests can treat themselves to Jause (a traditional cold snack). At dinner, our cooks put together a 4-course menu of choice with 3 various options for the main course, with a salad bar. A special festive menu will also be served at Christmas, on New Year's Eve a festive menu will be offered (31.12.2026).

Important notes

• Minimum age sauna area: 15 years
• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
• Please note that the afternoon snack on the day of arrival is not included in the package.
• Please note that the Spieljochbahn in Fügen will be closed at the start and end of the season, from 04/12 to 10/12/26 and from 30/03 to 11/04/27, and that the Ski Optimal Hochzillertal ski resort may not open until 05/12/26 if snow conditions are poor.
