Location

The family-friendly 4-star Feriendorf Ponyhof hotel is situated approx. 2 km away from the centre of Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße. The centre of Zell am See deserves a visit, and is approx. 8 km away from the accommodation. Access to the ski slopes is provided by the Areitbahn mountain railway approx. 8 km away. A practice lift for ski beginners is just outside the door. Cross-country skiing trails can be reached within about 100 m. Ski buses stop within about 250 m. The Bruck-Fusch train station shuttle can take you to your accommodation and back.

Facilities

The accommodation consists of a main building and a side building, which are connected and approx. 50 metres apart. The hotel’s facilities include a reception, a seating area in the lobby, a lounge, a lift, the hotel’s own restaurant, a parlour and a hotel bar. Wi-Fi is available to guests at reception. There is a terrace in the outdoor area. You can store your winter sports equipment in a heated and lockable ski cellar with a ski boot dryer. On site there are parking spaces and a parking garage (for a fee – subject to availability).

The Ponyhof holiday village is particularly notable for its sustainable energy concept. To this end, the organic farm not only uses spring water from its alpine pastures and regional products from organic farming to cater for its guests, but also prioritises sustainability in energy generation through the use of wood waste. To make this possible, a heating plant was built in 2013, which was even recognised by the Ministry for a Liveable Austria.

Spa

The 500 m² large Alpen Oase wellness area invites its guests to indulge body and soul (minimum age for admission: 15 years). There is an outdoor pool featuring an internal entrance to the indoor section (17:00 - 18:00). Your accommodation also features a 80 m² large indoor pool (08:00 - 21:00). When it’s time to rest and recharge, visit a sauna, a Finnish sauna, a sanarium, a steam bath, an infrared cabin and a waterfall. Let the stress of everyday life dissipate in the relaxation room. Massages are available for a fee and help encourage an overall sense of well-being. Our staff provides guests with a bathrobe (for a fee) and bathing slippers (for a fee) on a loan basis. Opening hours of individual wellness facilities and validity periods are subject to change.

Children

The children's playroom offers a range of play experiences for young guests to keep them content and entertained. Baby monitors, high chairs and cots can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

Entertainment

On site, you can enjoy a range of leisure facilities, such as the indoor play area (approx. 50 m²), billiards (for a fee), darts (for a fee) and kicker (for a fee). In addition, the hotel offers a wide range of sporting activities, including a fitness room (approx. 40 m², 08:00 – 21:00), table tennis and horse riding lessons for adults and children (for a fee). As part of the children’s entertainment programme, activities such as pony rides, pony treks, feeding small animals and a children’s disco (once a week) are offered (subject to conditions and restrictions on services as well as validity periods; please see information on site).

Board

When booking rooms on a half-board PLUS basis, meals include a generous breakfast buffet featuring regional produce and a vitality corner. In the evening, you will be served a 6-course set menu of your choice featuring regional produce, a salad bar and cheese specialities. For the little ones, there is a children’s juice bar with juices and water (07:30–10:00 and 18:00–20:00) as well as a children’s menu for dinner. You can also treat yourself to culinary delights at the themed buffet, which takes place three times a week. A Christmas dinner is served on 24 December, and a New Year's Eve menu is served on New Year's Eve.
