At a glance
Location and facilities
The romantic Almhütte Gipper chalet lies approx. 4 km above Heiligenblut, at an altitude of 1,700 m, in the middle of the Upper Tauern National Park. The resort centre, as well as the nearest lift, can be reached after about 4.5 km. When snow conditions allow it, experienced skiers can reach the chalet via a ski route/unprepared terrain. The free-standing chalet is comprised of a shower/wc, vestibule, three bedrooms, a spacious eat-in kitchen with wood-fired stove and electric hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, and radio, as well as a balcony and a large terrace. Self-catering.Chalet, sleeps 9 (100 m²), SC

Important notes
- Bed linens and towels must either be brought from home or rented for a fee in resort.
- Snow chains are mandatory for arrivals in winter! In the event of heavy snowfall, the road must be cleared first.
- Please note that no loud parties are permitted in this accommodation.
- No lift pass voucher is issued for children up to and including the age of 9. When accompanied by a parent, children from 5 to 9 years of age receive a "Schneemannkarte" snowman ticket (lift pass), which is payable on site at €9.50 per child per day. The children's rate applies for children travelling alone (e.g. in ski lessons). Children under 5 years are free of charge. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
- The Viehbühel and Hochfleiss T-bar lifts and the associated downhill runs will not be in operation in the 2023/24 winter season.
