Cross-country Hopfgarten im Defereggental
The Defereggen Valley features several beautiful tracks for cross-country skiers. A total of 70 km of cross-country trails can be found in the area, 10 of which lie in Hopfgarten where a round course can also be found.
Further tracks are available in St. Jakob and St. Veit. A highlight is e.g. the 8 km high altitude trail at the Staller Sattel at 2,000 m altitude. In St. Jakob, there is a 2 km long lit piste as well.
Defereggen's cross-country trail network has been awarded the cross-country quality seal.
