Location and facilities

The friendly furnished SCOL Sporthotel Großglockner is located in Großdorf, about 1.5 km from the centre of Kals, about 50 m from the Figolbahn in the Kals-Matrei ski area and in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. The cross-country ski trail is only approx. 300 metres away.

The hotel consists of the two connected houses "Alpenhof" and "Figol" as well as the "Jenshof" opposite (approx. 50 metres away). Facilities include a reception, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, restaurant, bar, lounge, children's playroom and a ski room with boot dryers. Free parking spaces are also available (subject to availability).

The approx. 380 m² spa area in the "Figol" house (opening times according to information on site) offers you an indoor pool, panorama sauna, relaxation room and a fitness room.

Board

The all-inclusive light board included in the price includes a breakfast buffet, a soup pot at lunchtime, an afternoon snack and changing themed buffets including soup, salad and dessert buffet in the evening. Selected drinks such as beer, wine and soft drinks are also included with dinner between 18:30 and 20:00 (self-service, see information on site). The buffet at Christmas Eve (24/12) and New Year's Eve is also included in the price of your holiday. Vegetarian food is available, gluten-free and lactose-free alternatives can be requested. All meals are taken in the "Alpenhof" house.
