Location

The cosy SCOL sport hotel Großglockner is situated in the district of Großdorf, approx. 1.5 km from the centre of Kals am Großglockner. Access to the Kals-Matrei ski area is via the “Figolbahn” lift, which is about 50 metres from the accommodation. Cross-country skiing opportunities are available on the network of trails about 300 metres away.

Facilities

The hotel comprises the two adjoining houses, the “Alpenhof” and the “Figol”, as well as the “Jenshof” opposite (approx. 50 m away). The cosily furnished hotel features a reception, Wi-Fi, a lounge, a breakfast room, an on-site restaurant and a hotel bar. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski/snowboard storage room equipped with a ski boot dryer. On site, there are parking spaces available, subject to availability.

Spa

In the spa area at Haus Figol, which covers approx. 380 m² (opening hours as per information on site), you will find an indoor pool and a panoramic sauna. You can also relax in the relaxation room.

Children

The children's playroom offers a range of play experiences for young guests to keep them content and entertained. High chairs and cots can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

Entertainment

Entertainment options include table football. Other activities include a gym and table tennis.

Board

Meals included when booking rooms with the ‘All-Inclusive Light’ board basis comprise a breakfast buffet. Lunch consists of a pot of soup. Afternoon refreshments include a light snack. In the evening, you can look forward to a variety of themed buffets, including soup, a salad buffet and a dessert buffet. Non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks (6.30 pm – 8.00 pm) on a self-service basis are included. A festive Christmas buffet is served on 24 December, and a festive New Year’s Eve buffet is served on New Year’s Eve. Lactose-free, gluten-free and vegetarian alternatives are also available on request. All meals are served at the ‘Alpenhof’.

Important notes

• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
• This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.

• Access to the spa area and fitness room (at Haus Figol) is permitted for children aged 12 and over, provided they are accompanied by an adult.
• Please note that access to the ski area is restricted towards the end of the season. Between 05/04 and 11/04/2027, only the Silian Hochpustertal Ski Centre will be open.
