The compact family ski resort Almenwelt Lofer is accessible with the ski pass of the same name and boasts 46 kilometres of slopes, most of which are easy to moderately difficult, and wide, flat alpine pastures. The area is particularly suitable for leisure skiers and beginners. In addition, the safety of young winter sports enthusiasts is a top priority here. Selected lifts are designed to be particularly safe for children. This allows the whole family to enjoy a stress-free skiing holiday.

Salzburger Saalach Valley

In front of the breathtaking panorama of the Loferer Steinberge mountains with the highest point of the Ochsenhorn (2,511 m) lie the cosy villages of Lofer and Unken. Nestled in the Saalachtal, the villages became popular winter sports destinations due to the close proximity of the Loferer Alm and Unken-Heutal ski areas.
