Location

The family-friendly campsite Chalets & Camping Hochoben is approx. 280 m from the centre of Mallnitz. Access to the ski area is possible via the "Ankogelbahn" lift, which is around 5 km away. There is a practice lift for beginners right next to the house. Cross-country skiing is possible on the nearby network of trails. Ski buses stop right by the house. A shuttle service is offered to the railway station.

Facilities

The campsite is divided into a north and a south area. In the centre is the main building, which has a reception, guest fridge, restaurant, sanitary facilities, drying rooms for ski clothing, washing machines and a small shop. The chalet area is located slightly away from the camping area on a hill in a car-free zone (loading and unloading is possible).
There are parking spaces on site - subject to availability.

Children

The campsite has a children's play area. Cots are available for an additional charge, highchairs are included (on request/subject to availability).

Entertainment

From 19.12.2026 to 27.03.2027 you will receive free admission to the Tauernbad Mallnitz with sauna area (see information on site).
For leisure activities there is a petting zoo at the accommodation. Courses such as cross-country skiing (once a week) and snowshoeing are also offered at regular intervals. During your stay, you have the option to hire sledges - subject to availability.

Board not included. On request, you can make use of a bread roll service on site or, when booking a chalet, book a breakfast service on site.
