Location

The cosy 4-star St. Georg zum See hotel is situated approx. 600 m away from the centre of Maurach. The Rofan Seilbahn cable car, which is approx. 300 m away, will take you to the ski area. There is a picturesque and inviting lake, the Achensee, at a distance of approx. 1,3 km. Cross-country skiing trails can be reached within about 600 m. Ski buses stop within about 200 m. The Jenbach railway station can be reached after approx. 12,7 km. Cafés and restaurants lie within approx. 600 m.

Facilities

The hotel features various facilities, such as a reception (daily, 08:00 - 22:00 & 08:00 - 18:00, subject to change), Wi-Fi, a common room, a lift, a breakfast room, a hotel restaurant and a hotel bar. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a ski cellar with a ski boot dryer. Drivers can use a parking lot, a parking garage (for a fee) and a charging station for e-cars (for a fee) - subject to availability.

Spa

The St. Georg Vitalwelt wellness area invites its guests to indulge body and soul. Your accommodation features an indoor pool. When it’s time to rest and recharge, visit a Finnish sauna, an organic sauna, a steam bath and an infrared cabin. You can recharge in the refreshment area with fruits and tea. Guests can request a wellness bag containing a bathrobe as well as a bath towel. Massages are available for a fee and help encourage an overall sense of well-being.

Board

The half board plus catering plan includes a rich buffet style breakfast (08:00 - 10:30) with regional products, bread, sausage, bacon, honey, yoghurt as well as freshly squeezed juices. In the afternoon (15:00 - 17:00) guests can treat themselves to a wholesome and varied selection of light refreshments in the form of various nibbles. At dinner (18:30 - 20:00), our cooks put together a generous, wholesome and varied 5-course menu of choice with 3 various options for the main course. Our guests will receive 1 x a week one bottle of mineral water. On request, we also serve lactose-free dishes, gluten-free, vegetarian as well as vegan (for a fee) alternatives.

Important notes

  • This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
  • Minimum age to enter the accommodation: 18 years old
  • Please note that the restaurant is closed on Sundays! On this day, you will not receive an afternoon snack at the hotel or dinner in the evening as part of the half-board PLUS package. For this reason, a reduction of €17 per person has already been taken into account in the holiday price.
  • No lift pass vouchers will be issued for children born in 2019 or later; they can ski for free when accompanied by their parents. For children skiing alone (e.g. in ski lessons), a Skihaserl card must be purchased on site.
