Location

The cosy Rübezahl-Hütte is located at approx. 1,450 m above sea level, around 150 m next to the mountain station of the Markbachjochbahn cable car in Niederau, directly in the "Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau" ski area. It is about 400 m from the valley station of the gondola to the centre of Niederau. Alpine skiers will find slopes almost right on the doorstep. The Rübezahl hut can only be reached via the Markbachjochbahn lift (for a fee, see information on site for lift opening times).

Facilities

The accommodation facilities include a reception, Wi-Fi (in public areas), breakfast room, hotel restaurant and hotel bar. You can store your winter sports equipment in the ski cellar. You can park your car free of charge in the Lanerköpfl lifts parking space (for the duration of your stay). The parking spaces at the Markbachjochbahn valley station are subject to a charge (see information on site).

Spa

A small spa area with sauna, sanarium and relaxation area is available for guests staying in a double room/2 extra beds with shower/WC.

Children

Highchairs are included (on request/subject to availability).

Board

Board when booking rooms with half board includes a breakfast buffet. In the evening you will be served a 3-course menu of choice. Lactose-free, gluten-free and vegetarian alternatives are also available on request.

Important notes

• This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
• Please note that on arrival the ascent with the Markbachjoch gondola lift is not included in the price until 15:30 (from 15:30, however, free of charge, last ascent approx. 16:30, see information on site). Luggage is transported from the mountain station of the Markbachjoch cable car to the Rübezahl hut on arrival and departure by skidoo (approx. 150 m walk for guests). These services are only included if you have booked the trip with lift pass.
• You must bring your own towels and bed linen for the Double room, shower/WC in the hallway, Four-bed room, shower/WC in the hall and Four-bed room, shower/WC. Sheets are available in the accommodation.
