Pertisau
The small village of Pertisau is idyllically situated on the western shore of Lake Achensee. At an altitude of 952 metres, you can enjoy the relaxed Tyrolean lifestyle without any hustle and bustle. Thanks to its proximity to the Karwendel Mountains, one of the largest contiguous nature reserves in Tyrol, the village is an ideal starting point for cross-country skiers and winter hikers.There are also a variety of leisure activities away from the slopes. For example, you can visit the modern Vitalberg adventure centre and learn how Tyrolean rock oil is extracted. Or you can indulge in some home-style cooking. Pertisau is also known as a cross-country skiing centre and offers various trails with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains.
Achensee
