Ski area Goldeck sports mountain

The "Goldeck Sportberg" lift pass gives you access to approx. 30 kilometres of piste in total, which are served by 6 lift systems. Despite its varied offer, the Sportberg is still considered a real insider tip. From beginners to experienced skiers, everyone will find the right descent here. Children can gain their first experience in the spacious Kinderland with its own two lifts, while leisure skiers will appreciate the gentle family descent. Freeride fans also have over 50 hectares of unprepared terrain at their disposal.

If you are not satisfied with a visit to the cosy restaurants and Carinthian guest parlours serving regional and international delicacies, Spittal also offers numerous evening entertainment options. Popular meeting places include Cafe B2, the Irish pub Finnegans and Nicky's Pub with its own skittles / skittle alley.

There are also many opportunities to spend an active afternoon or evening. Lake Millstatt, for example, offers an idyllic setting for a winter walk, and those who want to experience the snow-covered nature more intensively can explore it on snowshoes. Ice skaters and curlers get their money's worth in the Spittal ice sports arena. A romantic horse-drawn carriage ride - ideally along the lakeshore - is particularly atmospheric. A walk to Porcia Castle is also worthwhile: the castle park is transformed into an atmospheric Christmas village during Advent.

Not least, Spittal also impresses with its diverse cultural programme. Events such as readings, jazz concerts and cabaret regularly take place in the castle or in the Spittl - an impressive Renaissance building in the centre of the city. The castle is also worth a visit outside of the events programme: it is one of the most important Renaissance buildings north of the Alps.
