Cross-country St. Johann im Pongau

The Salzburg Sportwelt is an ideal holiday destination for cross-country skiers. 260 km of mostly challenging cross-country trails are available free of charge, including approx. 48 km near Filzmoos, 30 km near Altenmarkt, 26 km near Flachau and another 26 km around Wagrain alone. Most of the trails are interconnected, which makes it easy to get started.
A hot recommendation is the high altitude track Rossbrand, directly at Filzmoss: easy ascent to 1,600 m with the Papageno lift, from which you then enter the 12 km long trail and can fully enjoy the wonderful panorama view, together with ideal snow conditions! In St. Johann Alpedorf you will additionally find 14 km of staking style tracks.
On the floodlight trails at Altenmarkt and Flachau you can enjoy cross-country until late into the evenings - a real highlight for all cross-country fans!
