Location

The comfortable 3-star superior Hotel Der Alpenblick is situated approximately 1.5 km from the centre of Alpendorf. The “Gernkogelbahn” lift, located about 1.5 km away, provides access to the ski area. When snow conditions are good, it is possible to ski right down to the hotel. Cross-country skiing opportunities are available on the network of trails at the same distance. A shuttle service runs to the lift (subject to a charge).

Facilities

The lovingly furnished hotel features a reception, lobby, Wi-Fi, lift, breakfast room and on-site restaurant. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski/snowboard storage room. On-site parking and a charging station for electric cars (subject to a fee) are available – subject to availability.

Spa

The spa area features a Finnish sauna and steam room. The heated outdoor pool with indoor access and massage jets is available to guests in the outdoor area of the accommodation.

Children

The children’s playroom offers age-appropriate entertainment for younger guests, even in bad weather. Cots are available for an additional charge; high chairs are included (on request/subject to availability).

Board

When booking rooms on a half-board basis, meals include a generous breakfast buffet featuring regional produce. In the evening, you will be served a 3-course set menu with a choice of two main courses and a salad buffet. Lactose-free, gluten-free and vegetarian options are also available on request.

Important notes

  • This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
  • Please note that you can only ski down to the hotel if there is sufficient snow
  • Children aged 5 or under (at time of departure) do not receive a lift pass voucher in the Snow Space Salzburg ski area. Children in this age group can use the lifts free of charge when accompanied by an adult. If your child uses the lifts independently or attends ski lessons, a mini card (lift pass) must be purchased on site. The same applies to the use of ski lifts in other ski areas. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
  • Please note that the ski resort will only be partially open during the off-season from 07/04 - 10/04/26.
