Location

The cosy Der Forsthof hotel is situated approx. 100 m away from the centre of Alpendorf. The centre of St. Johann im Pongau is always worth a visit, and is approx. 4 km away from the accommodation. The Gernkogelbahn cable car, which is approx. 250 m away, will take you to the ski area. Alpine skiers can get on a slope directly at the door. Cross-country skiing trails can be reached within about 4 km. You can experience a rush of adrenaline on a well-prepared toboggan run approx. 4 km away from the hotel. Ski buses stop within about 100 m. The St. Johann im Pongau railway station can be reached after approx. 4 km.

Facilities

This hotel offers various amenities, such as a reception, Wi-Fi, a breakfast room and a hotel restaurant. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a ski cellar. Drivers can use a parking lot - subject to availability.

Spa

Our wellness area invites its guests to indulge body and soul and enjoy a sauna and an infrared cabin. Massages are available for a fee and help encourage an overall sense of well-being.

Important notes

  • This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
  • Children aged 5 or under do not receive a lift pass voucher in the Snow Space Salzburg ski area. Children in this age group can use the lifts free of charge when accompanied by an adult. If your child uses the lifts independently or attends ski lessons, a mini card (lift pass) must be purchased on site. The same applies to the use of ski lifts in other ski areas. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
  • Please note that the ski resort will only be partially open during the off-season from 07/04 - 10/04/26.
