Ski area Arlberg

The ski area of St. Anton belongs to the Ski Arlberg group together with the ski areas of Stuben, Zürs and Warth-Schröcken. Since the 2016/2017 winter season, the ski areas have merged into one large ski area thanks to the Flexenbahn, Trittkopfbahn I and II, and Albonabahn 2 lifts. With 47 cabins for 10 people each, the Flexenbahn connects Lech-Zürs with Stuben/Alpe Rauz and replaces 120 ski bus journeys a day. In addition, a magnificent view over the Klostertal can be experienced through large panoramic windows. Holders of the "Arlberg" lift pass therefore have a total of 306 kilometres of pistes and 88 lifts at their disposal!

St. Anton am Arlberg is ideal for families and beginners thanks to its comprehensive childcare facilities and many blue pistes. The Arlberg (1,300 - 2,811 m) is one of the most snow-sure regions in the entire Alpine area: in combination with the most modern snow-making systems, excellent slope conditions are guaranteed. The Arlberg is not only known for its well-prepared pistes, but also as a freeride Mecca. A total of approx. 200 km of powder snow runs can be found here in order to enjoy a perfect powder day. The mountain restaurants of the Arlberger Bergbahnen lifts also offer free Wi-Fi.

The fun park "STANTON PARK" in the Rendl ski area is paradise for snowboarders. Real experts go to the world champion tested race tracks below the Kapall (2,330 m), while beginners take their gentle turns at the Gampen.

Après ski Strengen am Arlberg

Apres ski in Strengen is rather low-key. here you can let your mind wander after a long day on the piste, and relax in the "Black Wall" bar or at a fun lodge evening.

The après ski scene in nearby St. Anton, however, is truly legendary: the atmosphere is boiling in international bars and pubs from 15:00 on. The offer is extensive - mountain lodges like the "Krazy Kanguruh" or the "Heustadl" invite you in to enjoy the last rays of sunshine and toast to a successful day on the slopes. No one should miss the opportunity to visit the "Moosewirt" - après ski with cult status!

In the afternoon St. Anton's pedestrian area comes alive, as visitors take to the streets to enjoy the great selection of chic shops, cosy cafes and restaurants. Those looking to relax will find just the thing at the indoor pool with large sauna and spa area. Sporty activities can be found in the 2,000 m² multi-purpose hall.

Snowpark: STANTON PARK Strengen am Arlberg

Embedded in the unique landscape of the Arlberg you will find the "STANTON PARK", located at the mountain station Rendl, ideally accessible via 2 ski lifts. It's great location, directly on the brim of the Rendle terrace, provides the chance for both spectators and riders to enjoy the action going on in the park.

The "STANTON PARK" has a sensational selection for the riders - spread over 3 lines with varying levels of difficulty (pro, medium and jib line). The obstacles include various rails and boxes, kickers with 15 m tables, pipes, a wall ride and a big tube. Head shaper René Friedl and his team are endeavoured to make this park a unique experience for all riders and work hard to leave no wishes unfulfilled.

Along with the "STANTON PARK", there is also a fun slope with jumps, steep curves, tunnel and "Schnecke" in the ski area. You can find the slope at the Galzig.

If you want to detour to other ski areas from time to time, you don't have to miss out on freestyle fun. In Lech and also on the Sonnenkopf there are further parks to try out. The snow park "Lech am Arlberg" also provides 3 lines with mini kickers for kids and the best triple-kicker line in the entire Alps. On the Sonnenkopf beginners will find lots of space for practising: the beginner fun park offer 5 medium elements, as well as a kicker line (3 - 5 m).
