Location
The family-run 4-star Romantikhotel Metzgerwirt is located approx. 190 m from the centre of Zell am See. Access to the ski area is possible via the "cityXpress" lift, which is about 500 m away, or the "Schmittenhöhebahn" lift, which is about 2.6 km away. Ski buses stop approx. 250 m away. The nearest public transport stop is around 350 metres away, and Zell am See train station is around 550 metres away. A shuttle service is also offered to this railway station. There are also shuttles to the lift and the CityXpress ski area.Furnishings
The traditional, comfortable accommodation consists of a main building and the adjoining "Landhaus" building, which are connected to each other. The hotel facilities include a reception, Wi-Fi in the entire hotel area, lounge, lift, hotel restaurant and hotel bar. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski/snowboard storage room with ski boot dryer. There are parking spaces on site (for a fee) - subject to availability.Spa
The approx. 600 m² spa area on 2 levels invites you to relax. Here you will find a textile sauna area (14:00 - 20:00) with sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and relaxation lounge with waterbeds. Another spa facility is the "Adults Only" sauna area (16:00 - 20:00) with Finnish sauna, Swiss stone pine organic sauna, salt purification steam bath and infrared cabin. Here you will also find an experience shower, a water fountain and a relaxation area with loungers. In the indoor area of your accommodation there is a heated indoor pool measuring around 24 m² and a hot tub (07:30 - 20:00). The 54 m² outdoor pool (16:30 - 18:00), which is heated and connected to the indoor pool, is also one of the hotel's amenities. Beauty treatments and massages are available for a fee. A bathrobe is available on site (on loan). Opening times/periods of validity are subject to change.Board
The board when booking rooms with half board PLUS includes a cold/warm breakfast buffet (07:30 - 10:00) with vitality corner. Board in the afternoon (16:00 - 17:00) includes a snack. In the evening you get a 4-course menu of your choice with salad buffet. For the little ones there is a children's menu for dinner. A gala dinner is organised once a week. You can also indulge in culinary delights at the barbecue evening (weather permitting), the farmer's buffet and the Italian evening. At Christmas there is a Christmas gala (24/12), on New Year's Eve there is a New Year's Eve gala. Lactose-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan (for a fee) alternatives are also available on request.Room type
