Cross-country skiers get their money's worth in Spindleruv Mlyn: a network of around 92 km of well-maintained and daily groomed cross-country ski trails awaits you here. From the chair lift mountain station, you can easily reach the cross-country trails on the Plán high plateau as well as the challenging routes over the mountain ridge.
Fit skiers should not miss out on the 30 km long route over the Krkonoše ridge. It starts near Janské Lázné and leads above Pec and Spindleruv Mlyn to Harrachov, from where you can connect to the cross-country trails on the Polish side. The impressive panorama can be enjoyed particularly well during a stop in one of the typical mountain huts. The tour from Medvedín around Špindlerův Mlýn via Goldhöhe to the Plán high plateau is also popular: this 25-kilometre trail leads through beautiful landscapes exclusively above the tree line. In the Horní Mísecky area there are other cross-country trails, including some racing and skating trails.
