Location

The modern apartment block Résidence Capella is situated approximately 350 m from the centre of Avoriaz at an altitude of around 1,800 m. Access to the ski area is via the “TD6 Lac-Intrets” cable car, approximately 750 m away, or the “TS6 Tour” cable car, approximately 800 m away. The "Aquariaz" indoor swimming pool is around 550 m away. Alpine skiers and snowboarders will find slopes almost right on their doorstep. A shuttle service runs from your accommodation to a stop "between the village entrance and the hotel". The nearest shops are approximately 250 m away, and the nearest cafés and restaurants are just 210 m away.

Facilities

This cosy accommodation features a reception and Wi-Fi. You can store your winter sports equipment in a heated ski/snowboard storage room. At the entrance to the village, there is a public car park (subject to charge) and a public parking garage (subject to charge) – subject to availability.

• Over-occupancy resulting from babies: not possible
• Avoriaz is a car-free resort. Public parking spaces and an underground parking garage at the entrance to the village can be used for a fee. We recommend booking the underground parking garage online at www.avoriazparkings.com. A transport service is available around the clock to take you to your resort (possibly for a fee).
• Please note that proof of age is required when collecting lift passes.
• From 28/03/2026 until the end of the season, for every adult lift pass purchased for Portes du Soleil, one child between the ages of 5 and 11 (at time of departure) will receive a free lift pass for Portes du Soleil for the same duration (valid when booking a 3-day lift pass). If you book for more children than accompanying adults, a child's lift pass must be purchased on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
