Location and facilities

The cosy Résidence La Grande Motte is located in the centre of Tignes Val Claret, approx. 100 m from the underground standing cable car that runs to the Grande Motte glacier. Some shops can be found in close proximity. A free shuttle service connects the districts Le Lavachet - Le Val Claret/Grande Motte and Les Boisses - Tignes le Lac.

Accommodation facilities include a reception with Wi-Fi (incl.), luggage room, ski boxes and a table tennis room. Parking spaces (approx. 300 m) and a parking garage (approx. 600 m) can be used based on availability and provided paid for locally (reservation for garage parking at the reception).

Furthermore, when booking a 2 days lift pass or longer, you gain free access to the "Le Lagon" aqua centre, as well as free ice skate rental for the natural ice rink in Le Lac for as long as the lift pass is valid.

Furnishing

The cosy studios offer a living/sleeping area with TV, Wi-Fi (payable locally), an alcove, bath and wc, hair drier (to be picked up from the reception, based on availability), as well as a balcony. Further, there is a fully, equipped kitchenette with electric hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, coffee machine and a refrigerator.

Important notes

  • The Val d'Isère ski area will be closing on 1 May 2019. From that point on, only the Tignes ski area can be used.
