Location and facilities

The 4-star hotel Bannwaldsee is located approx. 500 m from the centre of Buching and approx. 2.5 km from Halblech. You will reach a practice lift and the Buchenberg mountain railway after approx. 200 m. If there is enough snow, you can ski down to about 100 m to the house. A cross-country ski trail and winter hiking trails can be found right next to the house. Füssen is approx. 10 km away, and the world-famous Neuschwanstein fairytale castle, about 8.5 km away, is also worth a visit.

The comfortable hotel consists of a main and side building (connected underground) and has a welcome area with seating and reception, lift, Wi_Fi, breakfast room, parlour, à la carte restaurant, hotel bar, lounge, ski and boot room as well as free parking (subject to availability).

The well-maintained spa area on about 500 m² offers you an indoor swimming pool with hydro massage shower and massage jets as well as a Finnish sauna and an organic sauna with relaxation room. Massages and wellness treatments are available for a fee.

On site you will receive the Halblech-Card, which allows you various services and discounts in the region (see info on site, details subject to change).

Rooms

The comfortably furnished rooms have bathtub or shower/wc, TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, safe, hairdryer, minibar (payable locally), some also have a balcony. Accommodation can be in the main building or in the adjoining building.

Board

The half-board included in the holiday price comprises a glass of sparkling wine during the welcome evening, a rich breakfast buffet with regional and homemade specialities as well as a 4-course menu or buffet in the evening. On request, a children's menu is prepared for the younger guests.
