The spa and winter sports resort Lohberg is located in the nature park Oberer Bayerischer Wald, at the foot of the Osser and Arber mountains. With approx. 2,000 inhabitants the resort is the most eastern village in the Upper Pfalz. Due its diverse offer of trails, the area is known to be a true cross-country skiing paradise. Bavarian Forest

The Bavarian Forest is the largest forest landscape in Central Europe. In 1970, the Bavarian Forest National Park was founded here, which together with the Bohemian Forest forms the largest contiguous forest reserve in Central Europe.
