Location

The comfortable Hinterponholz guest house is situated approx. 3.7 km from the centre of Ramsau. Access to the ski area is via the “Hirscheckbahn” lift, which is about 9.4 km away. Ski buses stop approx. 100 m away. Berchtesgaden railway station is approx. 12 km away. The nearest shops are approx. 2.8 km away, whilst the nearest cafés and restaurants are just 2 km away.

Facilities

This lovingly furnished accommodation features Wi-Fi, a lounge and a breakfast room. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski cellar. On site there are parking spaces and a charging point for electric vehicles (for a fee – subject to availability).

High chairs and cot beds are included (on request/subject to availability).

When booking rooms on a bed and breakfast basis, a generous breakfast buffet featuring regional produce, pastries, bread, cakes, cold meats, cheese, jam, a selection of teas and a boiled egg is included in the price. Special dietary cuisine, including lactose-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan alternatives, are also available on request. The apartments are offered on a self-catering basis. However, for an additional charge, you can conveniently book the breakfast buffet on site or, alternatively, the bread roll service, which will provide you with fresh baked goods in the morning.

Important notes

• This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
• If you have booked equipment and courses through us, the ski hire and ski school are located in Berchtesgaden (approx. 10 km away).
• Services included when booking with a lift pass: use of the toboggan run at the Hochschwarzeck Bergbahn, use of the toboggan run at the Jennerbahn, 1 x daily toll charge for the Rossfeld Panorama Road (only when using the toll road by car), 10% discount at the local "Watzmann Therme" thermal spa (upon presentation of the lift pass)
• The RVO bus service to the Rossfeld ski area can be used free of charge as part of the compulsory guest card. Provided a lift pass is shown, no toll charge applies.
• Since the 24/25 season, skiing on the Jenner has no longer been possible. However, use of the Jennerbahn cable car for pedestrians, tobogganists and winter walkers is included in the lift pass.
