The cosy pistes on the Hochschwarzeck are ideal for families. The 6 km long valley run on the Rossfeld (ascent to Rossfeld included once a day) to Oberau is also ideal for beginners thanks to its easy level (only accessible if there is enough snow). The boarder scene and all floodlight fans meet at Götschen, where the snow park is located and where a floodlit piste is available every Friday. In the village you have access to Wi-Fi hotspots in several areas.
The ski resorts around Königssee enjoy an international reputation as the venue for world championships in snowboarding, tobogganing and bobsleighing, thanks in part to their World Cup-calibre slopes! And the Zinken ski area even offers you the chance to ski the slopes in neighbouring Austria.
From the 24/25 season onward, there will no longer be any groomed pistes available on the Jenner. However, the ride on the modernised Jennerbahn is still included in the lift pass. You also have the opportunity to use the new approx. 1.4 kilometre long toboggan run from the mountain station, explore the surrounding area on the snowshoe trail to the "Vorderer Pfaffenkegel" or try out the groomed winter hiking trail around the Speicherweiher pond.
Night skiing Ramsau
In Germany, many skiers are drawn to the slopes for night skiing when selected slopes in some ski areas are lit up for night skiing. Around Ramsau, too, some night skiing areas in the Berchtesgaden region start operating on certain dates. For example, in the Rossfeld ski area, the approximately 1 km long piste at the Großer-Lift drag lift is opened for night skiing every Wednesday from 18:00 to 21:00. In the Götschen ski area, the night ski run at the Götschenkopfbahn 3-seater chairlift is open for night skiing on Fridays between 18:00 and 21:00. Here you can even set off for evening skiing on around 1.8 kilometres of illuminated piste.Après ski Ramsau

The bars are the place to go to celebrate and the restaurants entice you with an excellent culinary offer. In addition, numerous activities are offered such as winter hikes, torchlight hikes and guided excursions through the magnificent landscape around the Watzmann. With the Berchtesgaden Region ski pass, you can also use the winding toboggan run on the Obersalzberg, which is easily accessible by cable car, free of charge (weather permitting). Reduced admission is available at the Watzmann Therme, where you can relax on 900 m² of water and with various treatments.
