Cross-country Ruhpolding
Fans of the Nordic discipline will find a true cross-country skiing paradise in Ruhpolding. It is not for nothing that the area is regarded as the cross-country skiing Mecca par excellence. The cross-country skiing network, which stretches over more than 130 km, offers just the right thing for beginners to experts. Even the world elite of biathlon and cross-country skiing stars come to Ruhpolding for training and the world-famous World Cup races.
One of the absolute highlights is the approx. 15 km long 3-lake cross-country trail, which leads through a beautiful nature reserve. If you like it particularly demanding, you go on the Froschsee-Loipe, which offers the most difficult ascent of all routes. Suitable for beginners is the 7 km long Grashof cross-country trail with easy ascents and descents.
