Location

The family-run Gästehaus Siegllehen guesthouse is approx. 8 km from the Obersalzburg ski area. A bus stop (RVO bus line) is about 300 m away, the centre of Schönau am Königssee is about 2 km away. Cross-country skiing fans will find the entrance to a cross-country trail after about 10 m. The Königssee lake is reached after about 800 m.

Facilities

General facilities at the accommodation include a reception, Wi-Fi, lounge, breakfast room, guest fridge and ski cellar. There are also parking spaces and a charging station for electric cars (for a fee), subject to availability.

Upon arrival, you will receive a guest card, which entitles you to numerous discounts in museums or at events, among other things. In addition, with the guest card you can use almost all bus and train lines in the Berchtesgaden-Königssee tourist region free of charge (benefits subject to change).

Board

The meals included in the price include a rich breakfast buffet with regional products. Dietary food, gluten- and lactose-free dishes as well as vegan and vegetarian alternatives can be prepared on request.

Important notes

  • If you have booked equipment and lessons through us, the ski rental and ski school are located in Berchtesgaden (approx. 5 km).
  • Skiing on the Jenner will no longer be possible as of the 24/25 season. Nevertheless, use of the Jennerbahn cable car is included in the lift pass for pedestrians, tobogganists and winter hikers.
  • The RVO public bus to the Rossfeld ski area can be used free of charge as part of the obligatory guest card. Provided that a lift pass is presented, no toll is charged for this.
