Location

The cosy Haus Waldklause is located approx. 1.5 km from the centre of Schönau am Königssee and about 5 km from the centre of Berchtesgaden. The Jenner ski area can be reached in about 2.5 km.

Facilities

The accommodation has the following facilities; Wi-Fi, a ski cellar and parking (upon availability).

Upon arrival, you will receive a guest card, with which, amongst other things, you can take advantage of numerous discounts in museums or at events. In addition, the guest card allows you to use nearly all bus and train lines in the Berchtesgaden-Königssee tourist region free of charge (subject to change).

Important notes

  • Please note that firewood is not included.
  • If you have booked equipment and courses through us, the ski rental and ski school are located in Berchtesgaden (approx. 5 km).
  • The RVO public bus to the Rossfeld ski area can be used free of charge as part of the obligatory guest card. However, a toll fee of €1.50 per person (€ 0.70 per person for children between 6 and 15 years of age) will be charged.
