Location

The cosy Hotel Brunneck is categorized with 3 stars, and is located approx. 7 km from the Obersalzberg ski area. A bus stop (public bus operated by the RVO) and an access point to the cross-country trail are both located at a distance of only approx. 200 m from the hotel. Approx. 400 m from the accommodation, you will find the centre of Schönau am Königssee. A toboggan run is located approx. 1 km away from the accommodation.

Facilities

The stylishly furnished hotel has a reception, Wi-Fi, a breakfast room and parlour, restaurang and ski cellar. Free-of-charge parking space can be used, if available.

Relaxation is offered in the sauna area with Finnish sauna and daybeds.

On arrival, you will receive a guest card, which gives you a number of discounts at museums and events. Moreover, the guest card gives you free use of almost all bus- and train connections in the Berchtesgaden-Königssee tourism region (subject to changes in the services).

Board

The included meals vary depending on the booked travel period:
When booking 7 nights (arrival Sunday), half board is included (breakfast buffet and 3-course menu of choice), but there is no dinner on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
When booking 4 nights (arrival Sunday) the daily breakfast buffet and 2 x dinner (3-course menu of choice) are included.
When booking 3 nights (arrival on Monday) and 3 nights (arrival on Thursday), half board is included (daily breakfast buffet and 3-course menu of choice).
Dietary food as well as vegan, vegetarian, gluten- or lactose-free products are each available on request.

Important notes

  • Please note that there is no dinner on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
  • As of the 24/25 season, skiing on the Jenner will no longer be possible. However, use of the Jennerbahn cable car is included in the lift pass for pedestrians, tobogganists and winter hikers.
  • For ski hire or ski lessons that have been booked through us, the ski hire/ski school company is located in Berchtesgaden (approx. 5 km).
  • The RVO bus to the Rossfeld ski area can be used free of charge with the obligatory guest card. If a lift pass is presented, there is no toll charge.
