Snowy landscapes, glittering snow and fresh, clear air - in and around Schöneck, cross-country skiers will find paradise-like conditions. Located directly at the IFA Holiday Park, there is an access point to approx. 36 km of trails leading through wintry forest all around the Hohe Reuth.
The trails are automatically maintained (by machinery) and therefore offer a high quality. Further, Schöneck is the starting point of the famous "Kamm" trail (Kammloipe), which runs over approx. 36 km right up to Johanngeorgenstadt in the Ore Mountains. The trail leads through the nature park Ore Mountains/Vogtland and is one of the longest and most pretty, as well as snow-sure trails in Germany. It has also officially been stamped as "Exzellente Loipe" (excellent trail).
