Location and facilities
The welcoming 3-star Hotel Harzer Land is situated in the middle of the vast forests of the eastern Harz region, about 150 m away from the resort centre of Allrode as well as about 15 km away from the centre of Thale. The Braunlage Wurmberg ski area is located approx. 25 km away. With prior reservation, the hotel's own shuttle can take you to and from the Thale central train station for free.The modern hotel is composed of 2 houses: the 3-star Haus Gotha (main building) and the 4-star Haus Braunschweig (side building). Facilities include a reception with safe and welcome area, lift, Wi-Fi, TV room, breakfast room, restaurant, bar "Evia" and café. Free parking spaces can also be found and used where available.
The approx. 4,500 m² spa area, with a large sauna area including a gemstone sauna, salt sauna, coloured light sauna, and outdoor sauna with Himalayan salt stone, can be used for free (opening times as per info in resort). You will also find a plunge pool, ice grotto, laconium, ligurian garden under a glass dome, lounge area with waterfall, two swimming pools, steam bath, Finnish sauna, and relaxation room.
You can also participate in daily water gymnastics (20 min.) for free. For a fee, you can make use of the solarium and even treat yourself to a massage or cosmetic treatment in the beauty centre (per request).
Along with the extensive spa selection, guests also have the option to make use of the sports hall (tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball and beach badminton, among other things), two nine-pin bowling alleys and a riding hall. For the little ones, a children's playroom as well as an indoor playground are available to enjoy.
Furthermore, each guest will receive the "Sparfüchse" coupon booklet, which provides various discounts on services throughout the area, such as free use of public transportation (as per info in resort, services subject to change).
