Location and facilities

The cosy 3-star Apartmenthotel Harz (formerly Hotel & Ferienwohnanlage Friedrich) is situated in an idyllic and quiet forest location, around 300 m from the centre of Friedrichsbrunn and approx. 9 km from the centre of Thale. There is a bus stop and access to the nearest cross-country ski trail network around 500 metres from the hotel. The Wurmberg Braunlage ski area is around 40 km away.

Facilities at the accommodation include a reception, lift, restaurant, breakfast room, lounge and children's playroom. There are free parking spaces at the hotel, subject to availability.

The sauna and relaxation room are available free of charge (opening times according to the notice board on site).

A horse farm can be visited in the neighbouring house approx. 50 m away (riding facilities available, weather permitting, for a fee).

The holiday price includes breakfast or half board, depending on the room type or board type booked. The breakfast option includes an extensive breakfast buffet. When booking a room type with half board, a 2-course meal is also included.
