Location and facilities

The cosy and quietly located Waldhotel am Ilsestein is situated in Harz National Park. The resort centre of Ilsenburg is approx. 1.5 km away and the centre of Wernigerode can be reached in approx. 11 km. The nearest ski area Wurmberg Braunlage is approx. 33 km away. A bus stop is available in approx. 100 m.

The hotel is situated in an idyllic spot and its facilities include a reception, lobby, lift, Wi-Fi, restaurant, bar, reading room with library and TV as well as a conservatory. Parking spaces are also available for a fee (upon availability) .

A sauna, infrared cabin and massages are available for a locally payable fee.
