Location and facilities
The family-friendly, 3-star superior Familotel Aparthotel Am Rennsteig is located in a quiet spot, at the edge of the Thuringian resort Wurzbach. The centre of the resort is approx. 500 m away, some shopping facilities can be reached within approx. 200 m, and the ski lift is approx. 500 m away.The comfortable hotel offers a reception with safe, entrance area with Internet corner and Wi-Fi, lift, children's playroom, breakfast room, dining hall, restaurant, bar, café, conservatory with fireplace, souvenir shop, library, and a ski and boot room, as well as a terrace. Parking spaces at the hotel (free of charge, based on availability).
The spa area offers an indoor pool, Finnish sauna (incl. once per stay), fitness room and relaxation room, which can all be used for free. Further sauna sessions, as well as treatments in the beauty centre and massages can be booked and paid for locally.
In the bar, there are regular dance evenings, which free to attend. Table tennis and gaming computers for children are also included. Billiards, nine-pin bowling, and darts are offered for a locally payable fee.
For children from 3 years, there is a childcare service on offer (approx. 40 hours per week, as per info in resort). During the main holidays there is also a teenager programme on offer. A baby-care service is also possible (18 hours per week, Mon - Sat, baby food for children up to 1 year incl.).

The spacious rooms all have shower/wc, hair drier, sitting corner, satellite TV with integrated radio, telephone and Wi-Fi. Further, the rooms all have either a balcony or terrace.Board
The holiday price includes half-board PLUS and comprises a daily breakfast buffet and a 3-course dinner (menu or buffet form), incl. drinks from the self-service bar (incl. beer, wine, water, soft drinks, tea, only from 17:30 until 20:00).For the little ones, there is an All Inclusive children's package with breakfast buffet, lunch snack or lunch pack, dinner buffet, one plastic bottle for on-the-go and daily free drinks (water, apple juice or tea).
