New Year's ski jumping, the Kandahar downhill run and international flair - you can experience all this and much more in the region around Germany's highest mountain! There are also special scenic features such as the Zugspitze itself and the Partnachklamm gorge. In the region, you can get to know ten different ski areas in two countries. The Zugspitzplatt is particularly snow-sure with numerous slopes directly below the Zugspitze. A ride on the Eibsee cable car, which takes pedestrians up to almost 2,950 metres, just below the highest point in Germany, allows you to enjoy a breathtaking panorama. Fun and thrills are also guaranteed with tobogganing and many other leisure activities in the holiday region.
