Location and facilities

The comfortable 3-star Hotel Lo Stambecco is situated in a quiet location in the ski area at an altitude of approx. 2,500 m and can only be reached by the approx. 50 m distant gondola. The centre of Cervinia with its numerous bars, restaurants and shops is about 800 m and can also only be reached by the gondola.

The hotel offers a reception, lift, lobby, Wi-Fi, lounge with TV, reading room, luggage storage, dining hall with breakfast room, restaurant, wine cellar, bar, café and disco, ski and boot room and a terrace.

In resort, you will receive an obligatory club card (for a fee) which grants you access to the spa area with sauna, hot tub and experience showers as well as the children's area with childcare and playroom with table tennis and billiards (as per info in resort). Massages are also available to enjoy for a fee.

Depending on availability, there is parking at the Breuil-Cervinia bus stop or on the hiking trail (for a fee on site).

Board

The already included half board consists of a breakfast buffet in the morning and a 3-course menu in the evening. Vegetarian menus, special dietary cuisine or children's menus are also available (on request). The hotel also organises special themed evenings and on Christmas (24/12) and New Year's Eve, a special dinner is served, which is also included in the holiday price.

Important notes

  • The accommodation can only be reached via the cable car lift between 13:00 -16:30. Arrival after 17:00 is only possible via snowmobile (€30 per person). Only on Saturdays is the latest check-in at 18:30.
  • Please note that a fee may need to be paid for departure via the gondola (as per info in resort). The ticket needed to take the cable car to the hotel on the day of arrival (until 16:30) can be retrieved from the ticket counter of the Piazzale Funivie.
  • If you book a 5-day lift pass, it is also valid in the other areas of the Aosta Valley on one of the lift pass days booked; if you book a 6-day lift pass, it is even valid on two of the lift pass days booked (more information available in resort).
  • Children aged 7 years or younger will not receive a lift pass voucher. Instead, for each parent with a booked lift pass, one accompanying child in this age range will receive a free lift pass valid for the same length of time as the adult lift pass. Should more children than adults be present, a lift pass must be purchased in resort. Further information can be found at the lift office.
  • Seniors aged 80 years or older will not receive a lift pass voucher. Instead, they will receive a free lift pass when providing valid identification. Should you not be able to provide valid identification, a lift pass with senior tariff must be purchased in resort. Further information can be found at the lift office.
