Cross-country Nova Levante (South Tyrol)

There is hardly a more beautiful backdrop to let off steam on the narrow boards and always have the Dolomite peaks such as the Catinaccio or Latemar in view. In total, Val d'Ega offers a network of trails for all ability levels with a length of almost 100 km, which are groomed for both skating-style and classic-style skiing. For example, a 5 km cross-country trail starts at the Karneid sports centre. From there, cross-country skiers can also reach a beautiful circuit in Steinegg with impressive panoramic views of the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park in just a few minutes by car.

There are also around 20 km of groomed cross-country trails to discover at the Pellegrino Pass and in Tesoro, while Deutschnofen has a further 33 km of trails. There is also a real jewel of Nordic skiing to discover south of the Val d'Ega. There lies the Lavazé Pass, a high plateau with a pass height of 1,808 metres, which has established itself as an ideal cross-country skiing area thanks to its flat terrain. Around 80 kilometres of trails lead over the pass between South Tyrol and Trentino.
