Ski holidays Prato allo Stelvio – A sunny holiday!

Prato allo Stelvio

Prato allo Stelvio (German: "Prad am Stilfserjoch") lies at the foot of the famous Stilfserjoch, Italy's highest mountain pass, which counts towards the sunniest places of the Vinschgau. It is the perfect starting point for exciting hikes and ski tours to the beautiful surroundings near the National Park Stilfserjoch. But not just that: the historic village centre with its old houses and the castle ruins of Castle Lichtenberg make Prato allo Stelvio an interesting and lovely destination. Prato allo Stelvio is a great destination for families and active holiday makers with its cosy atmosphere and diverse leisure activity offer.

Ortler Region

Amidst the national park of Stilfserjoch, framed by 14 peaks, each above an altitude of 3,000, lies the Ortler region. Its named after the 3,905 m high, most well-known glacier in the eastern Alps. The grandiose landscape surrounding the Ortler captivates both visitors of winter and summer. Around the Ortler, you can experience pure skiing fun from November - May, including the impressive panoramic view of the Ortler, Cevedale, and the Königsspitze.
