Location
The comfortable 4-star Hotel Schneeberg-Family Resort & Spa is located in the Ridnaun Valley, right in the centre of Maiern, approx. 2.5 km from the village of Ridnaun. The "Gasse" ski lift (approx. 1.1 kilometres of pistes, depending on weather conditions) is around 3.5 km away. The Rosskopf and Racines/Jaufen cable cars are around 16 and 18 km away respectively. There is a ski bus stop directly at the hotel. Cross-country ski trails can be found in the immediate vicinity.Facilities
The family-friendly accommodation features a reception area with reception, lift, Wi-Fi, several lounges, dining room, restaurant as well as the hotel's own pizzeria, bar, pub, tavern, games room, winter garden, ski and boot room and a terrace. Free parking spaces and a paid parking garage are also available at the hotel.The hotel has an approx. 10,000 m² spa area. Here you will find a sauna, bathing and spa world with indoor pool, steam bath, sauna, Finnish sauna, bio sauna, sanarium, infrared cabin, relaxation room, children's spa with swimming pool and children's sauna, brine pool, panorama infinity and brine pool, relaxation zone, panorama event sauna, turbo slide with drop start, mega tunnel slide and infinity jump as well as lazy river with relaxation grotto and the "Bergi-Land" water area especially for children. Guests of the hotel also have free access to the fitness room. The solarium can be used or treatments in the beauty centre and massages can be booked for a fee.
There is also an entertainment and activity programme including snowshoe hikes and Pilates (programme subject to change, further information on site).
The hotel also has an attractive offer for children with free childcare in the Mini Club (3 - 12 years, more information on site), an indoor go-kart track, large indoor soft play area with climbing labyrinth, parallel slides and roller slide, two large ball pools, cinema and youth room with table football, table tennis, billiards and air hockey (some for a fee).
Board
The All Inclusive light catering included in the travel price includes a rich breakfast buffet with regional dishes and show cooking. The lunch buffet offers a variety of soups and pasta as well as a salad buffet and a selection of cakes. In the evening, a 4-course menu of choice with South Tyrolean and international specialities and a salad buffet is served. Vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free products are available (on request). Soft drinks with lunch and dinner are also included. - Access to the indoor pool is permitted to children of all ages, but only when accompanied by an adult.
- Children ages 8 and under will not receive a lift pass voucher. Instead, for each purchased adult lift pass, one accompanying child in this age range will receive a free pass in resort for use of the lifts (ID required). Should there be more children than adults present, a children's lift pass must be purchased in resort. Further information can be found at the lift office.
