Ski holidays Valtournenche – winter sports between heaven and earth!
Valtournenche
Situated at an altitude of approximately 1,524 metres, Valtournenche is particularly striking for its stunning location on the southern flank of the Matterhorn on the Italian side. This idyllic village, set on a plateau, has a long tradition of tourism and was once the starting point for expeditions to the Matterhorn. In addition to a varied ski area, there are plenty of other opportunities to enjoy an active day. A variety of restaurants and cafés are on hand to help you unwind from a day on the slopes in a cosy atmosphere. Trips to neighbouring villages are well worth a visit, where you’ll find further activities on offer.Cervinia (Matterhorn)
The winter sport resorts at the Matterhorn are captivating with their magnificent location in the Italian Aosta Valley, on the southern flank of the 4,478 m high massifs. Furthermore, the idyllic communities are situated directly on the Swiss border and thus surrounded by a trans-border ski area, which promises to meet all expectations with its diverse pistes. The Matterhorn has suitable destinations for everyone, be it a touristy holiday resort with lively après ski or a child-friendly family resort. Both types of resorts are appealing, with delicious specialities, a large selection of leisure activities and perfect snow conditions!Travel Valtournenche
