Cross-country Szklarska Poręba (Schreiberhau)
Beside loads of fun on the piste, the area also offers one of the best cross-country areas. In the Jacob Valley (Jakuszyce), a district of Szklarska Poręba lays one of the best cross-country networks in Poland. On app 100 km of prepared tracks and of varying difficulties can beginners and pros alike skate and ski to their heart's desire. The perfectly connected trails are designed in the curvy image of a clover leaf. Professionals and hobby sports enthusiasts can both be found here and thanks to the ideal climatic conditions and the really well-prepared trails, the FIS Cross Country World Cup 2014 in classic cross-country style even took place here. Here is also the "Bieg Piastów", the oldest and biggest trail Poland's in cross country mass start.
