Location

The Berghotel Trübsee is located in the middle of the Engelberg-Titlis ski area at an altitude of 1,800 metres. If you want to be the first on the slopes in the morning, this is the place for you! You can reach the centre of Engelberg either on skis via the valley run or by gondola (approx. 10 minutes).

Facilities

The hotel offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and has a lobby with reception and luggage storage room, lift and Wi-Fi (throughout the property), breakfast room, restaurant, bar, children's play area, ski room with boot dryer and direct access to the slopes, as well as a terrace. There is also a slide park in front of the hotel (rubber tyres, sledges, seat slides).

You can park your car at the Engelberg-Titlis valley station for a fee (allocation by parking staff on site is mandatory). You can either take your luggage with you in the gondola to the mountain hotel or, if you wish, leave it at the valley station and have it transported to the hotel free of charge (advance booking directly with the hotel required).

Spa

There is a sauna in the spa area. Bathrobes are available on site (on a rental basis).

Children

The hotel has a children's play area. High chairs and cots are included (on request/subject to availability).

Board

When booking rooms with half board, catering includes a breakfast buffet with regional products, fresh fruit, bread, croissants, sausage, cheese, yoghurt and egg dishes. In the evening, you will be served a 3-course menu or you can help yourself to the buffet (chosen by the chef) with popular regional dishes. There is a Christmas dinner on Christmas Day and a New Year's Eve dinner on New Year's Eve.

  • This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
  • The mountain hotel Trübsee can only be reached by cable car from Engelberg (journey time 10 minutes). Last ascent 16:30, first descent 08:30. No transport with the lifts is possible after or before this time! Valid for arrival and departure as well as for the entire stay.
  • The lift pass included in the price is valid for the entire duration of the trip including arrival and departure day!
  • Please note: The ski schools and beginner slopes are located down in the valley, so children and beginners have to travel down to the valley in the morning.
