The "piste hotel" Berghotel Trübsee is located in the heart of the ski area Engelberg-Titlis at an altitude of 1,800 m. If you want to be first on the piste in the mornings, then this is the ideal accommodation! To the centre of Engelberg you can either take the valley run on skis or you can go by gondola (approx. 10 minutes).

The hotel offers a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains and its facilities include a lobby with reception and luggage storage room, lift, Wi-Fi (throughout entire accommodation), breakfast room, restaurant, bar, children's play corner, ski room with ski boot dryers and direct access to the piste, as well as a terrace.

You can relax in the sauna free of charge (opening times as per the notice board on site). In front of the accommodation there also is a slide park.

At the valley station Engelberg-Titlis one parking space per booked room is included (allocation by parking lot staff at time of arrival is obligatory). You can take your luggage with you in the gondola to the Berghotel, or, if you wish, you can leave it at the valley station and have it transported to the hotel for free (with prior notification directly with the hotel).

All guests will receive a guest card for Engelberg, which grants you access to numerous reductions and free services such as use of the ski bus, cross-country trails, various spa services and much more (services subject to change, as per info in resort).

Rooms

The cosy rooms have shower/wc, hair dryer, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, radio and telephone. The superior rooms also have a seating area and sometimes a balcony.

Board

Breakfast buffet as well as 4-course evening meal are included in the holiday price. Christmas and New Year's dinners are also inclusive. Children's menus can be prepared upon request.

Important notes

  • This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
  • The mountain hotel Trübsee can only be reached by cable car from Engelberg (journey time 10 minutes). Last ascent 16:30, first descent 08:30. No transport with the lifts is possible after or before this time! Valid for arrival and departure as well as for the entire stay.
  • The lift pass included in the price is valid for the entire duration of the trip including arrival and departure day!
  • Please note: The ski schools and beginner slopes are located down in the valley, so children and beginners have to travel down to the valley in the morning.
