Location
The 4-star Sunstar Hotel Grindelwald is located in the centre of Grindelwald and the entrance to the ski area is just 700 m away via the Firstbahn lift.Facilities
The accommodation's general facilities include a reception with lobby and luggage storage, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, restaurant, bar, children's playroom and terrace. Parking spaces and a parking garage, as well as a charging station for electric cars, are available for a fee. A free shuttle between the hotel and Grindelwald railway station is also available.The approximately 1,000 m² spa area with indoor pool, Finnish sauna, steam bath, tepidarium, Kneipp basin and relaxation room is available free of charge. Massages and beauty treatments are available on site for a fee. The fitness room can be used free of charge.
Board
Depending on the type of room and board booked, breakfast or half board is included in the holiday price. The breakfast option includes a breakfast buffet. Important notes
- Access to the fitness room and spa area is permitted from the age of 16.
- The pool area is closed from 07/04 to 31/07/2026.
- No lift pass vouchers are issued for children aged 5 or under (at time of departure); they ski for free when accompanied by a parent. For children skiing alone (e.g. in ski lessons), a lift pass must be purchased on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
- When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
