Location

The modern 4-star Dakota hotel is situated approx. 300 m away from the centre of Meiringen. Access to the ski slopes is provided by the Meiringen Reuti mountain railway approx. 700 m away. Cross-country skiing trails can be reached within about 600 m. You can experience a rush of adrenaline on a well-prepared toboggan run approx. 600 m away from the hotel. Ski buses stop within about 50 m. The Meiringen railway station can be reached after approx. 150 m.

Facilities

This hotel features various amenities, such as a reception (07:00 - 20:30, subject to change), Wi-Fi, a library, a common room, a lift, a breakfast room, a hotel restaurant and a hotel bar. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a ski cellar. Drivers can use a parking garage (for a fee), a public parking area (for a fee) and a charging station for e-cars (for a fee) - subject to availability.

Board

The half board catering plan includes a welcome drink and a rich buffet style breakfast with regional products. At dinner, our cooks put together a 3-course menu. On New Year's Eve there is a festive dinner Gala. On request, we also serve lactose-free dishes (for a fee), gluten-free (for a fee) as well as vegetarian alternatives.

  • Free use of the toboggan bus from Meiringen to Grosse Scheidegg from a 4-day lift pass in the periods 25.12.2024 - 05.01.2025 (daily) and 10.01.2025 - 02.03.2025 (Thu-Sun). Toboggans can be hired at the Schwarzwaldalp at a reduced rate of CHF 10
  • Night skiing Mägisalp - Reuti: New Year's Eve night skiing on 31 December and every Friday from 17 January - 14 March 2025
  • Access to the spa area is only permitted for children aged 12 and over and when accompanied by an adult
