Cross-country Samedan

The entire ski region around St. Moritz contains a cross-country network of around 230 km and offers cross-country skiers a true winter sports paradise that meets all their requirements. A real challenge is provided by the longest trail, whose 61 km wait to be conquered. This trail runs from Maloja over Zuoz and S-chanf towards Zernez.

The cross-country network extends over several platforms in Engadin St. Morits: Along the valley floor, in the mountains and along the frozen mountain lakes. In Samedan alone, a triangular trail with 84 km of piste runs around a golf course and the three villages of Samedan, Pontresina and Celerina and is perfect for all levels of skiers. The area is diverse and especially interesting for experienced skiers. The highlight of the region is the "Aorta" of the cross-country network, the 42 km long marathon trail between Maloja and S-chanf. The Engadin Ski Marathon takes place here annually, with this winter being its 48th time.

In order to use the cross-country trails, you'll need to acquire the Swiss cross-country trail pass. It costs approx. CHF 10per day and about CHF 30 per week.
