Les Quatre Vallées ("The Four Valleys") is a huge ski area consisting of several winter sports resorts. It is located between the French-Swiss border and the Valais capital Sion and offers 412 kilometres of piste and ski routes. It connects four valleys and eight well-known resorts such as Verbier, Veysonnaz and Nendaz with 81 lifts and cable cars. The versatility of this magnificent ski region with its endless mogul pistes, steep gullies, wide deep-snow runs and first-class snowparks makes the hearts of many skiers and snowboarders beat faster! From the highest point, Mont Fort (3,330 m), ski cracks can swing down one of the steepest mogul pistes in the Alps. Due to the altitude, there is almost always powdery snow and, of course, plenty of sunshine. From up here, there is an overwhelming view of the four valleys as well as Mont Blanc to the west and the Matterhorn to the south-east.
