Location

The family-run guesthouse Gasthof Bad Hochmoos is approx. 2 km from the centre of Lofer in the district of St. Martin bei Lofer. Access to the ski area is possible via the "Lofer Almbahn" lift, which is around 3 km away. Cross-country skiing is possible on the nearby network of trails. Ski buses stop right by the house.

Facilities

The facilities of the traditional accommodation include a reception, Wi-Fi, lounge, lift, breakfast room, hotel restaurant, parlour and hotel bar. There is also an outdoor terrace. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski/snowboard storage room. You can also use a public ski depot. There are parking spaces on site, a parking garage (for a fee) and a charging station for electric vehicles (for a fee) - subject to availability.

The accommodation has been awarded the Austrian eco-label.

Spa

In the spa area you will find an indoor pool, sauna and steam bath. The solarium and massages are available for a fee.

Highchairs and cots are included (on request/subject to availability).

The accommodation offers sports facilities such as a skittles alley (for a fee).

Board

Board when booking rooms with half board includes a rich breakfast buffet. In the evening, you will be served a 3-course menu of choice with salad bar. Special dietary cuisine, lactose-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan alternatives are also available on request.

Important notes

  • This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
  • A lift pass voucher is not issued for children aged 5 or under. They will receive a free lift pass on site, with which they can ski for free when accompanied by their parents (max. 1 child per parent). If there are more children travelling with you than adults, a lift pass must be purchased on site; further information is available at the lift ticket office.
  • Family-friendly promotion: 14/03/2026 - 06/04/2026. When booking for 3 or more days, children born in 2007 or later (ID required) receive a free multi-day pass. The pre-requisite is that at least one parent purchases a multi-day pass for 3 days or more for the same period. No lift pass vouchers are issued for children aged 5 or under. They will receive a free lift pass on site, which allows them to ski for free when accompanied by their parents (max. 1 child per parent). If there are more children than adults travelling together, or if the promotion requirements are not met, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
