Location
The welcoming 3-star Hotel Eggerhof is situated in a quiet location in the centre of the national park village of Mallnitz, surrounded by the picturesque mountain scenery of the Hohe Tauern. The ski bus stops approx. 50 m away from the accommodation and takes you to the ski lifts approx. 4 km away (Ankogelbahn) (operating hours according to timetable in resort). You will find the access to a cross-country ski trail after approx. 500 m. On the day of arrival and departure a free train station shuttle is offered.Facilities
The well-managed accommodation has a main house and a new building with an adjoining house, which are connected through a roof terrace. The main house has a breakfast room, restaurant, bar and lounge. The adjoining building has a reception with safe, spa area, children's playroom and ski room. Additionally, Wi-Fi, an Internet corner and parking spaces are also available.The approx. 120 m² spa area in the adjoining building offers a Finnish sauna, sanarium, heat bench, spa showers and a relaxation room with a fireplace (opening hours as per info in resort). Additionally, massages can be booked for a fee.
As a guest of this accommodation you receive free entrance to the public "Tauernbad Mallnitz" (indoor pool) with a water park, massage beds, children's pool, water slide and whirlpool. In addition to that, you can take part in a snowshoe hike with a National Park ranger 1 x per stay (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
Board
The half-board included in the holiday price offers a breakfast buffet with regional products (fruit juices, egg dishes, honey, bacon, muesli, fruit etc.) as well as a 3-course dinner with salad buffet in the evening. Once a week a 5-course gala menu is prepared. On arrival you will also receive a welcome schnapps. A small Christmas party with the family, biscuits and mulled wine, as well as the 5-course Christmas dinner are also included. Vegetarian dishes as well as gluten-free and lactose-free dishes are possible. Vegan cuisine is available on request.Room type
