Information on cross-country skiing
5 km Cross-country trails (in km):
The approximately 5 km long Ochsengarten cross-country ski trail is located in Oetz itself. The circular trail is well suited for beginners and can be used for both classic and skating styles. It leads from Ochsengarten through snow-covered spruce forests towards Kühtai and back again.
Lovers of Nordic skiing will find their paradise in the Längenfeld cross-country skiing centre, which has around 50 kilometres of trails. The other villages in the Ötztal valley also offer their own trails, including numerous high-altitude trails with guaranteed snow and a floodlit trail in Hochgurgl. The entire network of trails in the Ötztal valley covers approx. 149 km and has been awarded the Cross-Country Skiing Seal of Quality.
