Location
The cosy 3-star Hotel Gasthof Posauner is located at the entrance to the Gastein Valley, around 14 km from St. Johann im Pongau. The entrance to the Grossarltal/Dorfgastein ski area (Fulseck 1 summit lift) is approx. 10 km away. In Dorfgastein there are shopping facilities as well as a cross-country ski trail and a toboggan run for varied afternoon activities.The house is an ideal starting point for winter sports enthusiasts, as three first-class Ski Amadé ski areas can be reached within a radius of 14 km: Dorfgastein, Alpendorf and Hochkönig!

Important notes
- Children aged 5 or under do not receive a lift pass voucher in the Snow Space Salzburg ski area. Use of the lifts is free of charge for children in this age group when accompanied by an adult. If your child uses the lifts independently or attends ski lessons, a Minicard (lift pass) must be purchased on site. The same applies to the use of ski lifts in other ski areas. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
- Please note that the ski area is only partially open in the off-season from 07/04/25 - 21/04/25.
- When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
